Create Budgets in Google Sheets for G-Accon

To create budgets from Google Sheets to QuickBooks Online, you must be logged into your QuickBooks account. G-Accon uses the QuickBooks Online API to handle all budget operations securely and reliably.

Export Budgets to Establish Template Structure

Before creating new budgets, export existing budget data from QuickBooks to understand the correct structure and fields. This is a one-time setup process.

• Go to Extensions → G-Accon for QuickBooks → Budgets → Create/Modify Budgets

Create a New Budget

Pre-fill it with actuals from the current or previous year, or use the current or previous year's budget as starting point. Modify the budget values in Google Sheets, then upload the completed budget to QuickBooks.

1. Name: Enter name of the budget report.
2. Year: Choose year on the dropdown
3. Interval: You can set if Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly
4. Format: Choose if Consolidated or Sudivided

Pre-Fill Data

Apply filters to narrow down the actual data for each template.

Actuals Filter

• • Actual Data year — Choose year
  • Classes, Locations, Customers — Use the filters to pre-fill your budget with data for a specific location, class, or customer.
